Wabash College Continues to Raise the Bar on the Student Bookstore Experience

Akademos announced today a partnership with Wabash College to launch a new online bookstore and course content platform this July. The private men’s college in Crawfordsville, Indiana, nationally ranked for best classroom experience and most accessible faculty, will continue to focus on affordability, support, and providing students with increasing value at the on-campus store.

The move to the Akademos platform provides Wabash College with broad booklist coverage and sophisticated integration capabilities, delivering added convenience through a strong technology platform.

Akademos’ industry-leading software will provide the college with a Wabash-branded eCommerce bookstore, a faculty adoption portal, and a suite of administrative tools including comprehensive data and analytics reporting. Addressing the growing need for affordability, the online store features low-cost new, used, digital and rental items, along with a third-party seller Marketplace with over 100 million titles.

Akademos technology directly integrates with institutional registration and learning management systems, creating a personalized experience for students and faculty.

Wabash, which competes in 13 varsity sports, will continue to run an on-campus retail operation for emblematic merchandise and apparel. Akademos will help promote the on-campus store across its digital communication channels.
