WLPC Staff eagerly anticipates a joyous birthday dinner and celebration of 190 years

White Lake, MI (PRUnderground) July 29th, 2025

A historic milestone is just days away as White Lake Presbyterian Church prepares to welcome its extended church family for its 190th Birthday Celebration and Family Reunion.

The adults-only dinner event will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at The Lift Restaurant, 786 W. Highland Rd, Highland. This event is open to all current members, past members, and friends who’ve shared in WLPC’s faith journey. Please note tickets will not be sold at the door.

Then on Sunday, August 3, the church will host a special worship service at 10:00 a.m. at 4805 Highland Rd, White Lake. Former pastors will be in attendance, making the event even more meaningful.

“This is more than an anniversary—it’s a reunion of hearts and history,” said Pastor Debbie Lennis. “We are eager to see both familiar faces and new ones.”

WLPC was founded on August 1, 1835, and continues to be a vital part of the White Lake community. For those planning to attend Sunday’s service, all are welcome, even if you’re unable to attend the dinner.
