Wellington, New Zealand (PRUnderground) December 3rd, 2019

Wellington, New Zealand: Today, WhosOnLocation announces a new partnership with Alcolizer. The partnership brings together WhosOnLocation’s people presence software and Alolizer’s wall mounted breathalyzers, to ensure everyone on-site is fit to work.

The combination of Alcolizer’s hardware and WhosOnLocation’s software gives safety conscious organizations the confidence their workforce isn’t under the influence of alcohol when operating in hazardous environments.

Organizations have a responsibility to protect their employees, Service Providers and visitors, as well as members of the public who may be affected by the actions of those working in their duty of care. WhosOnLocation’s partnership with Alcolizer helps organizations mitigate the risks involved when alcohol is mixed with transport, exploration & production, heavy machinery, mining or construction.

Darren Whitaker-Barnett, CEO and Founder of WhosOnLocation said “This partnership offers us a fantastic opportunity to further secure our customers’ workplaces. A significant number of our customers work within the construction and manufacturing industries, where alcohol abuse could lead to serious consequences for both the business and its people – we know our customers in these high-risk sectors will be pleased with the peace-of-mind this latest integration provides.”

WhosOnLocation integrates with both the Alcolizer Centurion and Wall Mount 4 breathalyzer units. By linking a mounted Alcolizer unit with a WhosOnLocation Kiosk, organizations can require all employees, Service Providers and / or visitors to take a breath test before they’re granted access to a location.

Those signing in at the Kiosk will be prompted to blow into the Alcolizer unit as part of the sign in process. Triggers can then be set up within WhosOnLocation to perform actions based on the result, including denying access, presenting a customized response on the Kiosk and/or sending notifications to designated safety contacts within the organization.

If the organization has an integrated access control system with WhosOnLocation, triggers can even be set up to prevent a door from unlocking if the breath test is failed.

The Alcolizer and WhosOnLocation integration is available now.
