Women & Monday LLC, a women-empowerment education and publishing company, this week excitedly announced the publication of Power Strength & Perseverance: What Women Know About Other Women, But Search for In Themselves by Patricia M. Annino.

Approaching female empowerment through a new kind of lens, proclaiming immediately to the reader that, “female power did not start with a feminist movement. It did not start with the #metoo movement. Female power is a primal grounding force that crosses generations, cultures, and continents,” Annino explores the art of harnessing innate feminine energy that abounds in every woman on the planet.

“This book is both a how-to lesson on employing instinctive female strengths in today’s workforce, as well as a compendium of historical data on women’s powerful accomplishments throughout the ages,” said Annino. “My aim with this guide is that it’s universal, able to help everyone from the young woman and college student, to the mature women and mother.”

Annino proposes that women should embrace their natural and divine feminine energy, as opposed to adopting aspects of masculine power, which include drive, competition, and dominance. With feminine power, women can influence or lead through persuasion, charm, attraction, empathy, and problem-solving.

In her exploration of energy adoptions and norms, Annino backs up statements with historical events and past feminist movements as they relate to what we consider to be ‘feminine leadership’ today.

“In different chapters throughout the book, I examine the power women have exerted through their direct or direct influence, successful marriages of diverse women from different periods of history, and women who have achieved significant personal and professional accomplishments. It’s my intention to draw comparisons and conclusions that can help all women harness their power, strength, and perseverance today. The past can unlock many of the secrets of the present and future.”

Annino concluded that this is a book mothers can give to daughters, daughters can give to sisters, and grandmothers can give to their granddaughters in an effort to start a productive and transparent conservation about what it means to be a woman today.

Annino is an attorney in Boston, Massachusetts, and the author of Women & Money: A Practical Guide to Estate Planning, Cracking the $$ Code: What Men Know and You Don’t (Yet), and It’s More Than Money: Protect Your Legacy. Annino is also a graduate of Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, Smith College, and Suffolk University School of Law.
