Zimlon analyzed the car insurance trends in San Antonio, TX, and listed out the average car insurance rates based on various factors. The study revealed that DUI (Driving Under Influence) and driving violations are the most significant factors that lead to higher insurance rates. Apart from this, the age of the driver, credit score of the driver, and anti-theft features of the car also impact the cost of car insurance. 

Car owners with good credit scores enjoy lower car insurance rates. A credit score of 670-739 is considered to be good, while credit scores of 740-799 and 800-850 are considered to be excellent and exceptional, respectively. San Antonio car owners with good, excellent, and exceptional credit scores pay $1,505, $1,414, and $1,239, respectively, on car insurance. On the other hand, car owners with average and poor credit scores pay $1,963 and $2,355, respectively, on car insurance. 

The study also offers tips and insights to car owners on how they can avail of discounts on car insurance rates. Cars equipped with anti-theft devices are less prone to thefts. As a result, car insurance companies provide discounts to such cars. San Antonio car owners can also choose to bundle their policies and pay higher deductibles to reduce their car insurance rates.
