ASHEVILLE, NC (PRUnderground) June 14th, 2016

Biblio.com, the world’s largest independent marketplace for used, rare, and out-of-print books, and BiblioQuest International, Australia’s leading search service for out-of-print and collectible books, are launching two new sites for bibliophiles in Australia and New Zealand on June 14, 2016: Biblio.com.au and Biblio.co.nz.

small seal.jpgBiblio.com will manage the sites while BiblioQuest will be responsible for marketing and bookseller relations in Australia and New Zealand. The two companies have worked together since 2005 in order to connect book buyers and collectors around the globe. BiblioQuest also owns BibliOz.com The Book Search Wizard, a popular search engine since 2001 that is being developed for relaunching as an “ultimate” book search solution for both new and used books.

The agreement will allow booksellers that currently list their inventory through Biblio channels to also list their books through Biblio.com.au and Biblio.co.nz, thereby opening a separate sales channel to the Australian book buying market. Australia’s yearly book purchases are estimated at over two billion Australian dollars. The latest development in the strategic partnership between Biblio and BiblioQuest is anticipated to open a major new sales opportunity in the Australian market and will be the platform for a number of product and service innovations for both sellers and buyers.

Biblio not only maintains its own branded sites, but also provides the platforms for other clients in the online bookselling world: ABAA.org, IOBA.org, and BookGilt.com.

Biblio.com has over 4,000 sellers who can list their books on the new sites and will also be seeking to add new booksellers from Australia and New Zealand.
