‘Andrew Learns About Teachers’ is the second book in the Andrew’s Career Day series. The first title in the series, ‘Andrew Learns About Actors’, became a best selling book on Amazon within its first week live. Like the first book, ‘Andrew Learns About Teachers’ offers a fun, rhyming educational book about teachers and the career of teaching.
“I’m particularly excited about ‘Andrew Learns About Teachers’ because my husband is a teacher, my mom is a teacher, and I have several family members who are teachers,” said Obeng. “With nearly 20 years of schooling, I have had my fair share of teachers who have impacted me in one way or another. With the stressors and constant pivoting brought on by COVID-19, I wanted to write this book to honor teachers: our unsung heroes.”
The long-awaited release of the second book in the Andrew’s Career Day series has been met with the same level of excitement as the first. ‘Andrew Learns About Actors’ has received positive feedback since its debut in September 2020 on Amazon, where customers can find the title in Kindle, hardcover, and paperback versions. ‘Andrew Learns About Teachers’ is also being released on Amazon in the same formats.
The book comes with a free coloring page and literacy lesson to help keep conversations going beyond the story. Additional copies of the freebies are available as downloads via the Sugar Cookie Books website.
