Houston, TX (PRUnderground) April 21st, 2021
Anika Porter is originally from St. Martinville, Louisiana, and there, a boy she knew died in an accident. He was affectionately called “Poppa”, and to honor his memory, Porter created ‘Poppa Goes To Heaven’, a book that also helps children develop coping skills for handling unforeseen circumstances
Porter is naturally adept at uplifting others, a duty she meaningfully carries out as a practice manager. Aside from being a business and health care consultant, practice manager, public speaker, teacher, and podcaster, Porter has also fostered 20+ children.
‘Poppa Goes To Heaven’ was inspired by the loss of a friend’s son, who died in an accident involving a distracted driver. In the book, Poppa dies and goes to heaven. While there, he receives many surprises and even gets to see his family.
Initial presale of the new book is ongoing until April 16, 2021, and orders will begin shipping on April 26, 2021. More information can be found at https://www.aporterbooks.com/ and https://www.anikaporter.com/.
