This book originated from Dr Kim’s Gen Z and millennial followers’ requests. Since October 2019, Dr Chronister has been creating video content for the platforms Tik Tok and YouTube with regard to mental health and relationships. Several of her videos on Tik Tok have gone viral including “The Psychology of a Breakup.” As a Tik Tok Therapist Dr Kim Chronister has amassed a following that showed a profound interest for breakup recovery advice in the form of a book.

“I set out to put everything I know from clinical practice and from research about recovering from a breakup into one book. So many people are in extreme emotional pain (which can negatively affect their functioning) from divorce or a breakup with their ex. I wanted to provide a blueprint for them to rebuild their identities and move in the direction of healing from the breakup for good. Based on feedback, that’s exactly what I did,” Chronister adds.

Finally, a book that offers a roadmap showing the exact steps that someone who is struggling with a breakup can take to completely shift their experience after a breakup and make it an empowering and even an enlightening one. Getting someone’s ex back can become a reality within a couple of months. In fact, studies show that it takes sixty-six days to form a new habit which is what the timeline is based upon. Those struggling with painful breakups can flourish, and come out of a breakup more resilient and improved versions of themselves.
