Fashion Week Columbus Announces Designer Lineup for 2022

Fashion Week Columbus selected nine fashion designers to showcase their collections during the week-long affair that celebrates local fashion. The designers will present their collections at one or two runway shows: The High Fashion Tea Runway Show on October 9, 1pm – 4pm at the Le Meridien, The Joseph and the Finale Runway Show on Saturday, October 15, from 6:00pm-10pm at the Lazarus Building Galleria in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Tickets start at $100 and can be purchased by visiting www.FashionWeekColumbus.org.

A panel of industry experts interviewed over 20 designers, reviewed their upcoming collection, then selected the designers whose collections reflected the best technical skills, salability, being on trend, and overall cohesiveness.

Columbus is ranked third in terms of the number of resident fashion designers, only trailing New York and Los Angeles.

“I continue to be astounded with the level of creativity from local fashion designers who have marketable clothing lines that appeal to a wide variety of people,” said Thomas McClure, Founder/Executive Director of Fashion Week Columbus. “It’s exciting to see local designers opening storefronts downtown and developing strong relationships with clients.”

Fashion Week Columbus runs Sunday, Oct 9, 2022 through Saturday, October 15, 2022, with the Launch Party on September 30, 2022 at The Vault from 6:00pm – 9:00 pm where guests can meet the designers and witness the reveal of the 2022 Headline Designer. Entry is complimentary but RSVP is required.
