Impakt-ED Announces Launch Of Apparel, Home Goods, And Stationery Products Promoting Equality, Diversity, And Inclusion

Industry: Fashion & Accessories

Sheffield, England (PRUnderground) May 19th, 2021

Impakt-ED is announcing the launch of its apparel, home goods, and stationery products promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. The company prides itself on offering premier, quality-made products at an exceptional value that are built to last. The full product portfolio is available now at www.impakt-ed.co.uk.

Owner Naomi Whiteley says the latest product is a deck of playing cards, each of which is unique, and communicates the organization’s main message: to accept and embrace diversity across the world. The company also offers t-shirts, hoodies, hats, kids and baby items, wall art, home and living décor, and accessories such as bags, backpacks, phone cases, and items for the workplace. The products range in price up to £60.

The Impakt-ED brand promotes diversity and equality, and seeks to empower people with its logo and products. “We want our products to set people free, make them feel good, comforted, and confident to be who they want to be without worrying about being judged or accepted.”

Whiteley says the products are appropriate for individuals, parents, educators, and employers, all of whom can use them to disseminate the message that bullying or racism will not be tolerated. She says it’s an important message for people to hear, particularly at this moment in time in our world. “Typically, when people are experiencing something, they feel alone,” she says, “We tend to have a voice we think is never going to be heard. But now, I want to let people know there’s a community of people just like you who ae experiencing and advocating for the same thing.”

The larger mission is to create a world in which fairness is the rule, in which events occur not because of a person’s race or sexual orientation, but because of their actions and contributions. “This is the world I want for future generations,” she says.

The organization also wants to engage children in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. “Children are going to be the people of tomorrow,” she says. The desire to reach children stems from Whiteley’s own life experience when she was a younger person. “I’ve had challenges during the course of my life, stemming from the color of my skin and from being a woman, and it felt like I was being held back,” she says, “There were micro-aggressions seemingly everywhere, and I always thought, ‘This other person is getting better treatment than I am.’”

Impakt-ED is committed to a larger mission centered on service. The company is donating 10% of its annual profits to organizations working to create a fairer and happier world. “This is how we are going to instrumentally contribute to cultivating a world of acceptance, self-love, celebration of diversity, and promotion of equality for all.”
