The African Artists’ Association is a 501c3 nonprofit based in Hollywood, California. It is an organization of a globally diverse, international talent pool of business-minded artists and industry professionals from a broad spectrum of disciplines, including actors, producers, filmmakers, writers, musicians, post-production specialists, entertainment business professionals and more who are supportive of the mission of the organization. About Black Public Media Funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, New York State Council on the Arts, MacArthur Foundation, and others, Black Public Media supports Black filmmakers and content about the Black diaspora. In an effort to increase the amount of Black creatives working in VR, AR, and AI--storytelling mediums in which Black talent is vastly underrepresented--BPM started hosting BPM+ mixers in June 2018. About The In.flux Lab Founded by Tameka Kee, The In.flux Lab is a creative technology collective that produces media and events in Los Angeles. Previous events include the The In.flux Reality Mixer and Scaling AR & VR with Ad Tech, plus events about Cannabis & Advertising and Artificial Intelligence & Advertising.
