Space Goat Productions has announced that industry veteran Steve May has joined the company as Director of Business Development. May was the Director of Business Development at iVerse Media, LLC where he helped shape the future of digital comics.

“Steve May has a great eye for opportunity. We couldn’t be happier to have him on board,” Shon Bury said. “Space Goat has some massive projects in the works. Steve is just the person to help bring them to as many fans and retailers around the world as possible.”

“Steve is one of the most consistently insightful, resourceful and seemingly tireless professionals I have had the pleasure of working with and on behalf of throughout my tenure in what we call ‘the comics industry,’” said Steve Rotterdam, Founding Partner of the Bonfire Agency.

“I’m very excited to be joining the Space Goat team. Having been a fan of their work for the past few years, I feel like I am coming on board at the perfect time,” Steve May said.  “Shon and his team have established Space Goat as a major creative force in both comics and games. My job will be to expand our distribution reach and I look forward to doing exactly that.”

May will be coming on board just before Evil Dead 2: The Official Board game, a runaway success on Kickstarter, hits backer’s mailboxes and retailer shelves in the fall. May will also be assisting Space Goat in getting their comics, board games, and merchandise in more outlets than ever before.
