Darnell has worked in business, as a registered nurse, and as a counselor. Amidst her earnest business endeavors, it has been her passion to bring the hope of God to the lives around her. She has ministered in the prison system, rehab houses, and International Healing Rooms. She has also traveled abroad, raising young Christian leaders in China’s underground church and Mongolia’s first-generation pastors. During the last six years, she has been in Hollywood as a missionary to those in the entertainment industry and those living on the streets.
