One of New York city’s most talked about events happened this past Valentine’s Day. If you were lucky enough to get an invitation to it, then you know it was not to be missed.

The day began with doors opening to the Manhattan Manor  at 1pm. The lavish gifting suite was given by World Bride Magazine, Sharp Magazine ME and HEIGHT Magazine . Supermodel, ”DJ” Dujonette Smith  –Wilhemina Model Agency served as the gracious ambassador and chatted about in the comfy lounge area. The 3,520 square ft room would eventually be filled to capacity with everyone enjoying cocktails and hor’deuervers. Television personality and writer of  ‘The Delmonico Way: Sublime Entertainment and Legendary Recipes from the restaurant that made New York ‘ Max Tucci added a signature drink for the evening.

The suite celebrated small businesses such as Style Esteem, Non Artisan, Styles by Rowena Husbands, celebrity stylist and designer, Carlton Jones Collection, Bifties, Hanna Soule Powderly Art, Char Boutique  Oh My Heavenly Hair, and Inherent which served an amazing Fall/Winter 2023 collection for the evenings fashion show. Designer Taylor Draper unveiled his latest line of menswear which effortlessly compliment the ladies as well. The show supports Draper’s organization, Foundation by Inherent, targeting men’s mental health & wellness-eliminating stigmas. “My mission will not be complete until phrases like, ‘walk it off or man up’ are redefined in our vocabulary to mean that a man is in touch with his feelings and can communicate them in a healthy way”– Draper

Historic fine jeweler’s Piaget and SOUL by Amal Ameen supported the cause.

As press-media, influencers and celebrities such as Rolonda Watts prepared to watch the runway light up. The room would dem with countless photographers and videographers in place, waiting to capture images of the most highly anticipated collection. The crowd’s participation grew louder and louder with applause as phones went up when each model walked down the two lane aisles, split between the guests. Spotted on the runway; Samson Styles, film director/producer and writer, A.T. Mitchell of NYC Gun Violence Coalition and  artist/musician Tone Smith. The after party ensued with a book signing by Tucci himself, followed up with his birthday celebration.

Each guest parted with a gift bag worth over $400. Men’s grooming products, women skincare were just some of the items included.

That’s over 400 happy and inspired guests.

*The event was produced by MLM, a full service media branding company. Tapped for their next ventures are Bridal Fashion Week and The Tony Awards.
