[Embargo] April 6, 2022– The Brolo brand is re-introducing the unique  Brolo sleeveless shirt in time for golf season. According to the Founder, the brand plans to add 7 special edition designs this month to the collection. Since Brolo started in September 2021, this will be the brand’s first golf season in business to cater to their ideal consumer. The company is offering collared-sleeveless shirts in various colors and a special patriotic edition starting at $45.

The company founded by Gabe Salinas is not a new concept of golf course sports-wear. Brolo’s design came into existence after the founder had a difficult time finding appropriate options beyond the traditional polo after nearly over heating on a golf course. The Founder’s research revealed that men do not have the same  casual option as women’s polos.  The collared-sleeveless shirt is planned to disrupt the traditional golf course attire “rule” for men. Salinas’ is quoted from the brand’s vivacious introduction video, stating “The game of golf is changing. It’s cooler, younger, more fun.” The video continues to ask customers, “Shouldn’t your golf clothes change too?” Material for the collection is made of a higher quality moisture wicking performance fabric. The design of the fabric is intended to assist in keeping the player cool and comfortable. The true to size sleeveless men’s polo also come with 3- functional buttons, and a fit-to-comfort sleeveless design to further assist in keeping the customer cool. Salinas also admits the purpose of the design is to give men a chance for an even tan, as well as an opportunity to show off their muscles on or off the course.

With knowledge of the generational shift, Brolo is aimed towards the new generation of golf players that in duality may be members of golf course establishments across the United States. Though the company’s focus is currently golf, Brolo does plan to expand into multiple consumer verticals to cater to other sports including but not limited to; tennis and the fast growing game of pickleball. The Brolo has been worn at over 100 country clubs and golf courses across The United States. The Brolo brand is seeking to continue its research on which courses accept their patrons in the Brolo attire. As per the company’s research, the current dress code requirement for most clubs is “A Collared Shirt”.
